The Adolf Munkel Trail beneath the majestic Geisler/Odle mountain group is one of the most spectacular trails in the Dolomites. The breathtaking, panoramic view and the colourful plant life is impressive.

Starting point is the parking lot Zanser Alm/Malga Zannes (1,685 m), where you can get easily by bus. First, walk along the hiking trail No. 6  towards Tschantschenon/Ciancenon until you reach the bridge. Turn right and follow the Adolf Munkel Trail, No. 35. This trail leads you to hut Broglesalm (2,045 m) and from there you follow trail No. 28 descending to Ranui.

A shorter circular hiking tour is to follow trail No. 35 until hut Gschnagenhardt and Geisleralm/Rifugio delle Odle. Then the trail No. 36 leads to hut Dusler and back to Zanser Alm/Malga Zannes.
