Lower and Upper Herrnsteig
From the Zanser Alm parking lot (1,685 m above sea-level), you hike past the wildlife preserve until you reach the lime kiln. From here, take Trail No. 32B for a while and then change to Trail No. 32 or the "Lower Herrnsteig" towards the west until you come to the Kofel Meadow.

From the Kofel Meadow, Trail No. 32A will take you to the Günther-Messner-Steig "GM" (2,060 m above sea-level). Take a right turn here and ascend along the Günther-Messner-Steig "GM" to the Furtschellen Saddle (2,114 m above sea-level). Continue until you reach the intersection with Trail No. 25 or the "Upper Herrnsteig."
Descend along the " Upper Herrnsteig" until you come to the Kasseriller Brook (1,837 m above sea-level). Then continue along Trail No. 25 until you return to the Zanser Alm parking lot.
