A pleasure run in front of the breathtaking backrop of the Dolomites

Running in front of the breathtaking backdrop of the Dolomites in Villnöss valley with the Geisler peaks. Running on old and new paths, passing by the beautiful places that characterise the valley.
Together with the Brixen Dolomiten Marathon team, the Villnöss Dolomiten Run will take place for the first time on Saturday, 2nd July 2022. This race is primarily intended for "pleasure runners" who are looking for a physical challenge in a magnificent natural and cultural landscape, who not only want to pick up kilometres and metres of altitude, but also want to admire the beautiful farms, villages and varied flora and fauna.

The varied route of the Villnöss Dolomiten Run starts in St. Magdalena/Villnöss at 1,248 m. The route leads along meadow paths to the little church of St. Magdalena, follows the panoramic path to Coll, continues to the little church of St. Jakob with a magnificent view of the Geisler Group, on to St. Valentin with its Romanesque-Gothic church, via Miglanz on the new forest path to the village Teis passing by the Mineral Museum and then down via Kasserol and Albeins to the finish line on the cathedral square in Brixen. Participants have four hours to complete the extremely scenic route.
