ARRIVAL BY TRAIN
Positioned in the heart of Europe, South Tyrol has a good train network, with connecting trains from the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), Italian Trenitalia, as well as Deutsche Bahn (DB). Once in South Tyrol, DB/ÖBB train travellers can use the “Anschlussticket Südtirol”, a ticket that allows travelling with public transportation to get from the train station to their accommodation and vice versa on their day of arrival or departure.

All IC and EC trains stop at Bressanone station. Regional trains also stop at Chiusa station.

With Flixbus you can reach South Tyrol via Munich, Innsbruck or Verona several times a day.

USEFUL SERVICES AT ARRIVAL BY TRAIN & BUS
Südtirol Transfer: If you arrive by train or bus in South Tyrol you can use a region-wide connection shuttle called “Südtirol Transfer” for the last few kilometres to your accommodation.
The shuttle brings you to your holiday accommodation from the nearby train stations in Bolzano/Bozen, Brixen/Bressanone and Bruneck/Brunico, as well as from the ‘Flixbus’ bus stops in Bolzano, Klausen/Chiusa, or Vahrn/Varna and after your holiday you will be brought back to the stop. The group transfer from the nearest train stations or ‘Flixbus’ bus stops to the accommodations, as well as the individual transfers from all the transit hubs, can be booked online at www.suedtiroltransfer.com/en.

ARRIVAL BY PLANE
The regional airport of South Tyrol is located in Bolzano/Bozen.
The nearest airports beyond South Tyrol are Innsbruck and Salzburg (Austria), Munich (Germany), Verona, Bergamo, Treviso, Bologna and Venice.

Airport transfer: The connection from these airports to the respective railway stations is guaranteed by shuttle services. From there South Tyrol can be reached by Italian Trenitalia, Deutsche Bahn DB and Austrian Federal Railways ÖBB.
From the airports (Venice, Treviso, Bologna and Salzburg excluded) different companies offer a shuttle service to continue your journey to South Tyrol. This airport shuttle includes a wide range of stops throughout South Tyrol.

ARRIVAL BY CAR
By car you can reach South Tyrol via the motorway A22 Brennero/Brenner. Coming from the north, follow the route Innsbruck - Brennero - Chiusa. Coming from the south, follow Verona - Trento - Bolzano. To get to Funes/Villnöss Valley get off the motorway at Chiusa-Val Gardena/Klausen-Gröden. Follow the indications to Bressanone/Brixen for 2 km and then turn right in direction Val di Funes/Villnöss Valley.

This guest pass entitles you to unlimited use of the South Tyrolean public transport service and to one entry into every of the 90 participating museums. Moreover, you enjoy a number of additional benefits and experiences.

Mobilcards: With the Mobilcard Südtirol (7, 3 or 1 day) all public transport can be used as often as you like. The museumobil Card (7 or 3 days) also entitles you to one entry into every of the 90 participating museums in South Tyrol. With the bikemobil Card (7, 3 or 1 day), you can rent additionally a bike or e-bike from Südtirol Bike or PapinSport for one day. The transport of the bicycle is not included in the ticket. All Mobilcards are available at the Tourist Office.
